The hotel is in a perfect and convenient location, right by a public square. It is positioned in an absolutely fantastic area close to a bus stop that takes about 15 minutes to reach the port, a metro station, and subway system.

Thank you very much for a very pleasant stay for a business trip at Hotel Baseler Hof. the location is central, with a nice bar called Klimperkiste serving great shots nearby. the in-house restaurant offers a delicious breakfast buffet.

The room was well-appointed with a private bathroom. Its location near Spielbank Hamburg Casino was perfect and magnificent. And the area was absolutely fantastic, right by the main square, Close to restaurants and all the main attractions the Alster, Rathaus and shopping district.

I would recommend this hotel for a comfortable and convenient stay in the city.

Service most friendly including the restaurant in the evening. For me ideal location between railroad station (Dammtor) and Old City. I found the Internet instuctions, how to get from railroad station to hotel excellent.

All staff were were friendly and approachable. The restaurant staff were smiling and efficient. The reception staff spoke good English, looking after our needs well. The lady who cleaned the room was equally pleasant and accommodating.
It suited our needs perfectly.
